Bath & Body Works, Inc. announced on Wednesday the appointment of Maurice Cooper to the newly created role of chief customer officer.
In this role, effective May 22, Cooper will be responsible for the strategy behind strengthening and elevating the brand, including growing and retaining its customer base.

Most recently at Target Corporation, Cooper served as senior vice president, marketing – guest and brand experience and was responsible for overseeing all omnichannel traffic and developing and executing brand, category and promotional marketing.
Prior to that, Cooper was executive vice president, chief growth and experience officer and senior vice president, chief marketing officer at Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., where he helped drive increased brand awareness and equity scores, along with transaction and same-store sales growth.
