The campaign, shot by Johnny Dufort and styled by Ursina Gysi, features Hadid in abstract art-inspired situations, such as sitting in a foamy bathtub with a cherry on top.
The campaign also features images of bowls of cherries and a single cherry plopped in a field of grass. As for the clothes, Hadid wears an apple-inspired ball structure with an ethereal white bandeau top and billowing white sleeves with white trousers.
Hadid also poses in a red balloon dress as she embodied an apple in the field. In another image, she donned a silver ballgown in the literal shape of a ball as she plays with a hose, looking joyous standing next to a fountain.
Hadid also loans her likeness for some close-up shots, including one of her wearing a cloud-like white headpiece. Playing on the abstract theme, Hadid dons a white balloon dress with floral embroidery as she poses in a field.
The campaign was shot on the sidelines of the Versailles show that Hadid walked in during the collection’s unveiling in June. WWD said the brand’s creative director Simon Porte Jacquemus “had orchestrated another dazzling and transporting fashion spectacle to help fuel dreams — and sales of his fall 2023 collection.”
Hadid walked the runway show wearing a sleeveless sheer dress with small floral embroidery and several tie knots down the center. The dress was layered over a bikini-style top and bottom and matched with coordinating lacy socks and square-toe shoes. Hadid also went viral during the runway show for driving around in a golf cart.
