A.K.A. Brands, the direct-to-consumer fashion platform specialized in digitally native brands, opened on Friday the first U.S. Princess Polly store at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles, California.

The 3,370-square-foot retail space will house approximately 200 Princess Polly styles at any given time. To enhance the shopping experience, the store is also complemented by digital displays, a media wall, and personalized product recommendations.

Princess Polly’s U.S. debut is a major milestone in the brand’s global retail expansion.

“Based on feedback from our loyal customers, Los Angeles is the ideal first location to establish our retail footprint in the U.S., and we’re excited to pair the seamless online Princess Polly experience that American shoppers have grown to love with the convenience of a brick-and-mortar store at Westfield Century City.”

Looking ahead, the store is expected to host special events such as product launches, meet-and-greets with influencers, and styling workshops.

A.K.A. has a portfolio of digitally native direct-to-consumer brands, which also includes Culture Kings, Petal & Pup and Rebdolls. 

Australia’s Princess Polly was founded in 2010, and is today recognized as a global online fashion brand. It offers its customers exclusive designs created through an in-house team of designers and creatives and targeted at young female consumers. 

Earlier this year, it teamed up with specialty retailer Pacsun for an exclusive partnership marking Princess Polly’s first foray into wholesale.
