Halle Berry arrived at the Michael Kors spring 2024 runway show during New York Fashion Week on Monday, taking a minimalist approach with an edgy twist. Berry wore a black low-cut dress belted at the waist with split flowing sleeves and a thigh-high slit on both sides. She coordinated the dress with leather knee-high stiletto boots and accessorized with two silver cuffs.

Michael Kors is also celebrating the 10th anniversary of Watch Hunger Stop, the brand’s hunger-fighting initiative in support of the United Nations World Food Programme. On Oct. 16, 2013, Michael Kors launched Watch Hunger Stop to provide school meals to children in food-insecure regions, marking the brand’s first global philanthropic initiative.

Ten years later, the program has helped provide more than 30 million school meals through WFP’s school meals program. The brand recently celebrated WFP’s 10-year anniversary and kicked off its latest campaign at the UN with a reception cohosted by Michael Kors and Cindy McCain. Berry, who joined WFP in 2013 and 2014 to raise awareness for Watch Hunger Stop, was in attendance at the event.

The 2023 Watch Hunger Stop campaign stars Berry and fellow actress Kate Hudson. Both women have visited WFP-supported communities, with Berry traveling to Nicaragua and Hudson to Cambodia.

“I’m very proud of everything Watch Hunger Stop has accomplished over the past 10 years. It’s a reason to celebrate and a challenge to do more,” said Kors in a statement. “I truly believe that the fight against global hunger is one we can win, and I’m grateful to everyone who has joined our cause over the years — including Halle and Kate. Their compassion and support have been so important in helping us share the message of WFP’s life-changing work.”
