Swiss running brand On has opened its latest retail location in Miami, marking the company’s fifth store in the U.S.
Situated in the heart of Miami’s designer district at 125 NE 40th Street, the 3,229-square-foot store is set to offer a unique shopping experience.
“Miami connects performance and design like no other city in the world, and blending those two things is core to On’s DNA,” said Co-CEO and CFO Martin Hoffmann. “Our new store will help us create more intimate touchpoints with our athletes and fans in this city, taking their experience with our footwear and apparel to new levels.”
Inspired by the Miami Beach scene, the store boasts an earth-tone color palette and sand-infused cement panels. The standout feature of the store is the ‘Magic Wall’ an imposing structure over eight feet tall designed to offer customers an immediate opportunity to try on the brand’s latest footwear. The Magic Wall conceals drawers that house full-size runs of On’s newest footwear for a more seamless and personalized shopping experience.
In a nod to On’s Swiss heritage and commitment to sustainability, the Miami store also features the On Alpine Boulder, a signature structure found in their stores worldwide. Each boulder is a 3D-scanned recreation of a real boulder in the Swiss Alps, with design details tailored to reflect the culture of the store’s location. For the Miami store, On collaborated with sustainability-focused artist Lucas Muñoz Muñoz.
“Our new store in Miami underscores our continued investment in the Americas, which is On’s biggest market and biggest growth driver globally,” added Britt Olsen, GM of the Americas and head of global commercial strategy.

The brand made its U.S. debut in December 2020. Today, On also operates stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood, Los Angeles, and Portland.
